LET IT DIE offline version announced

LET IT DIE

Publisher GungHo Online Entertainment and developer Supertrick Games announced LET IT DIE is getting an offline version.

The new LET IT DIE offline version is now in development, a long-demanded release from fans, according to producer Uncle Death and director Hideyuki Shin.

“We’ve been running the service for a very long time since it started. We’ve been running it for a long time, but…  We’ve gotten feedback from customers for a long time that they want an offline version,” producer Uncle Death said in a new LET IT DIE: INFERNO dev diary.

Uncle Death added, “So I thought, ‘Maybe we should just go ahead and make an offline version.’ Uncle was taking a bath the other day and just thought of it. And we decided to start production.”

Further details like a release weren’t confirmed – Uncle Death noted today is just an announcement that the offline version is happening. The producer did note, however, that the current game’s online version will let you carry over data to the offline version.

LET IT DIE has been available for PS4 since 2016 and Windows PC (via Steam) since 2018. Get our review here! A new game in the series, LET IT DIE: INFERNO, is set to launch for PC (via Steam) and  PS5 this week, on December 3rd, 2025.
