Warner Bros. Games and TT Games have confirmed that LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight will arrive on Nintendo Switch 2 on September 18, several months after launching on other platforms.
The game originally released in May for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (Steam), where it earned positive reviews for blending classic LEGO humor with gameplay inspired by the Batman: Arkham series.
You step into the boots of Bruce Wayne as the story explores his rise from trainee to Gotham’s legendary protector. Along the way, you’ll battle iconic villains, solve gadget-based puzzles, explore a large open-world Gotham City, and unlock plenty of collectibles.
Unlike previous LEGO games with massive rosters, Legacy of the Dark Knight focuses on a smaller cast of seven playable heroes and allies, allowing each character to have more distinct abilities and playstyles. The game also includes local co-op, Batcave upgrades, suit customization, and a tougher Dark Knight difficulty mode for experienced players.
Pre-orders are already live, with some retailers offering a bonus Dark Knight Returns Batsuit for early buyers.
