Legion TD was one of the most popular custom maps in Warcraft III, and it spawned a standalone game of the same name. Now, AutoAttack Games has announced its sequel Legion TD 2 hits full release, several years after its early access release.

Legion TD 2 hits full release roughly five years after its successful Kickstarter campaign, and is now available on Steam for $19.99. Alongside the full release is a developer AMA, where AutoAttack answered fans regarding the release.

“We still plan to add more content, fix bugs, balance, and improve all aspects of the game just as we’ve done throughout Early Access,” the studio said in a reply to a fan. “We’re in this for the long haul.”

Despite only being available in its full release for a little over a week, the combined full release and early access user reviews have totaled nearly 4,500 reviews with over 3,500 of the reviews being overwhelmingly positive.

Historically, Legion TD was second in popularity only to the iconic DOTA, or Defense of the Ancients, and the original two developers of Legion TD only added two more developers for its sequel. A sequel to DOTA was also released years back, DOTA 2, and continues to get new content and community events to this day.
