The latest game in the series The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom has sold over 10 million copies in just three days.

The game is a direct sequel to the previous Legend of Zelda game Breath of the Wild and features many of the same mechanics and aesthetic.

To provide some context, Breath of the Wild has sold 30 million copies in the six years (has it really been that long?) since it released and Tears of the Kingdom has achieved a third of that in a tiny fraction of the time.
