The Legend of Heroes is a JRPG series by very talented developer Nihon Falcom. I’m pretty convinced these guys are how Square Enix was before the merger with Enix, i.e. they focus on gameplay/content and not visuals. Anyway, Falcom has been converting some older Legend of Heroes games that they released on PSP to the Vita, and boy do they look glorious.
Falcom’s Ys: Memories of Celceta is actually being brought over in English by XSEED this fall – so if you want to see more of their glorious JRPGs in English, please check that game out and support awesome JRPG developers like Falcom. A note about Sen no Kiseki – the game is also being brought to PS3 as well.
You can see the contents of the limited edition for Sen no Kiseki below, it includes an “All Chara Visual Book”, and a Drama CD featuring the voice cast. The game is hitting Japan on September 26th.
There is no word on an English release but you better believe XSEED or Aksys will be paying attention to the sales of the several games they’re localizing for Vita. You can view all of the games being localized by XSEED and Aksys here, so please check them out as well.
