Shunsuke Saito, the character designer on the Gravity Rush series, recently posted an illustration showing off how protagonist Kat dons her costume.

He posted an update via Twitter, where he described how she puts on the iconic costume. “Every so often I have fans ask me ‘So what’s exactly happening with Kat’s outfit?’, so I sketched how she puts it on.”

“The gold framing has an elasticity of a spring, and it both shapes and holds down the black clothing. If Kat moves around too frivolously… it might shift or slip off.” Such a tease!

Gravity Rush 2 is launching in Europe on January 18th, Japan on January 19th, and in North America on January 20th, for PlayStation 4.
