Sony Interactive Entertainment has revealed a new trailer and gameplay for the upcoming Horizon: Zero Dawn expansion “The Frozen Wilds.”

Featured above, the expansion’s launch trailer was released ahead of its global launch today, November 7th. Here’s a brief synopsis of the new content:

Beyond the northern mountains, the borderlands of the Banuk tribe challenge all who dare enter to survive the extremes. But now this frozen wilderness harbors a new threat, and for Aloy, a new mystery – one she’s determined to solve.

Here’s a new batch of gameplay:

The Frozen Wilds can be purchased separately for $19.99, while the Horizon: Zero Dawn Complete Edition, which comes with the full base game plus the upcoming The Frozen Wilds expansion, is releasing via retail and digital storefronts on December 5th in North America and on December 6th in Europe.

I have wanted to play this game but the character designs are sooooo not my style. “Caveman tech” just doesn’t work for me.

I’ll wait for the complete edition to get really cheap.

Is it just me or is her crown floating in front of her head? It looks like they copy-pasted it on top of what was already there without accounting for shadows or how her hair would react to it.

That’s fine. Everyone has their own thing. “Caveman tech” absolutely works for me.

I know a lot of guys who make better looking girls than this game’s mc.

This reminds me of “The Answer” in Persona 3FES where Aigis randomly gets a vest and a metal visor.

There’s a Spanish audio pack for the game if anyone really doesn’t like Alloy’s VA.

When I’m out of games I’ll give this a consideration. Just not going to spend $50 on it.

I’m sure even the modelers who worked on the game could, but GG intentionally made the mc frumpy looking. There were early concepts released of her looking slightly more “attractive.”

Looks like Spain Spanish. I couldn’t find a straight answer on PS store page, but I looked up a video of the dub and the woman spoke with lisps and used “vosotros” conjugation.

It’s pretty silly. Fighting robots with slingshots and arrows. I recall seeing the trailer and thinking it had to be some kind of techno-laser bow or something but nope, just a dumbass bow.

Can’t wait for the bow fad to die.

What’s hilarious is that feminists were still pissed because the game’s fans are primarily male, and they didn’t like “men controlling a woman.” Proves that feminists don’t want female main characters they just want to ruin other people’s fun.

Actuallly it is an incredibly good game and i really do not get where all the feminist talk comes from.

    Gameplay wise fucking anazing

    Worldbuilding great

    Story loved it

    Quests to me fun.

And if having a female main character means feminism say hi to samus aran.

That said i feel worth mentioning i myself cannot stand feminism and refuse to be called one. I will not defend the ansurd bullshit coming from the far left and in fact will GLADLY fight it.

But as far as this game goes by the gods is it brilliant.

You can always mod it when it comes to PC like everything else does through some means or just play Monster Hunter World which will have her and be on PC.
