Launch Trailer for Civilization VI Now Available

With the launch of Firaxis’ latest in their turn-based strategy series rapidly approaching, the developer has shared the launch trailer for Civilization VI .

Featured above, the launch trailer shows off the various ages of civilization you’ll go through, all narrated by Sean Bean. I’m almost positive there’s no way he’ll die in this game.

Civilization VI is launching on October 21st, for PC. You can pre-order Civilization VI over on Steam.

I think I’ll pass, Civilization has never really been my thing.

I’ll wait for the gold, I’m not to interested in the changes I see. I’ll wait till all the expacs are out and I can buy it all at once. Also I hope they don’t have the city number glitch.

Can’t remember the exact number, but once you controlled a certain number of cities in your empire, the next city you annex will cause the game to crash.

It may not bother everyone, but I love conquest on largest map type, so the second I found that glitch I shelved 5 for like two years while I went back to Civ 4.

Ah I see.I never play this games in an aggressive fashion so I never got that. But with this being a new game I’m sure they fixed that.

Hate the art style, not a fan of of how they changed city and hex management. And like all Civ games, wait for the GOTY edition before you even consider it.

the changes to the cities I find interesting, reminds me of a boardgame version I played a couple years ago. nevertheless it is a civ game at launch, avoid until DLC & patches have fixed what they left out and reviews cover why the next iteration may be worth the money (and if in doubt I go back to alpha centauri).
