Chinese developer Zlon Game Company has announced (via Famitsu) a new smartphone game based on the Masaya strategy RPG franchise, Langrisser.

The new game will launch for iOS and Android devices in Japan sometime in early to mid 2019.

While details for the mobile spinoff are scant, the preview teases returning characters, stories, and even battles from the long-running Langrisser series, as well as entirely new content.

Lastly, it’s worth pointing out the Famitsu preview has screenshots of the game with English dialogue, leading us to believe a worldwide release for the game is planned.\

The latest mainline game in the franchise, Langrisser: Re-Incarnation Tensei, has been available worldwide for the Nintendo 3DS.
