We have even more announcements from Anime Expo 2014: Manga Gamer has confirmed they’re localizing Ozmafia, an otome (female-oriented) visual novel, and they’re aiming for Steam.
Ozmafia is developed by studio Poni-Pratchet, and it’s sporting both a colorful, stylish aesthetic as well as a unique narrative.
The story revolves around a girl named Fuuka, an amnesiac, who doesn’t even remember her own name. She’s whisked off the dangerous city streets by members of the Oz mafia crime family.
As she tries to survive the city and its inhabitants, she begins life anew. Most notably, she must beware of the various rival mafia gangs and crime families, who are constantly embittered by the struggle for control and territory.
As this is an otome visual novel, Fuuka will be able to pursue pretty much any man she chooses in the game, leading to a multitude of possibilities. Will she end up with a member of the Oz family, or one of their even more dangerous rival gangs?
A release date was not given, but we’ll keep you guys posted.
