VTuber and streamer Kson recently won an audition to appear in both Like a Dragon 8 and Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name.

In Dragon Gaiden, Kson along with the other finalists in the Yakuza Grand Prix will voice hostesses in a cabaret club. Meanwhile Kson as the ultimate winner will have a role in Like a Dragon 8, presumably as a party member.

Kson competed alongside finalists Ai Kaname, Ai Sayama, Ayu, and Kokoro Akayama. At the end of the competition Kson won the most votes at 35, just barely ahead of Akayama’s 33.

On top of it all, Kson also walked away with a 1 million JPY prize (approximately 7.2k USD).

Kson has recently been the subject of controversy after angering Chinese internet users after a “completely unrelated” VTuber correctly identified Taiwan as an independent country.

Kson is currently affiliated with the VTuber company VShojo alongside characters such as Ironmouse and Henya.
