Publisher Konami and developer ILCA have announced Rev. NOiR, a new RPG they have in development.

Rev. NOiR is in development for PlayStation 5 and wishlisting is available over on the PlayStation Store. A release date wasn’t announced.

Here’s a rundown on the game, plus its reveal trailer and first screenshots:

Rev. NOiR introduces players to a world shrouded in “light fall,” a natural phenomenon that brings death to those it touches. The game follows a lonely, amnesiac boy who becomes acquainted with a special girl as they journey to stop this catastrophe, exploring profound themes of fate versus human will. This fresh RPG experience promises to unravel the mandate of heaven and weave together threads of hope in a completely new RPG experience.

When Hope Sparks Catastrophe 

In a world shrouded in light fall, a natural phenomenon that brings death to those it touches, 
A lonely boy who suffers from amnesia becomes acquainted with a special girl.  
Together, they set out on a journey to stop this phenomenon,  
Believing that the journey will save the world, and in turn, save her.
