Mortal Kombat X has a DLC pack that contains four fighters—two guests, and two returning characters. We recently found out about the Predator and Voorhees, and now the above teaser video confirms that Tremor and Tanya will also be playable characters—if you get the Kombat Pack DLC.
Tremor is a brown ninja who was a playable character in the Bonus Challenge Tower in the Playstation Vita version of Mortal Kombat 9. He was betrayed by Kano and imprisoned by Special Forces, only to later escape and target both Kano and Jax for revenge. Tremor is an earth-themed fighter, able to cause earthquakes and petrify opponents with stone bombs.
Tanya is an Edenian traitor who worships Shinnok. She first appeared in Mortal Kombat 4 where, as the daughter of Edenia’s ambassador to new realms, she invited Shinnok, Quan Chi, and their Netherrealm forces into Edenia, under the pretense that they were refugees from other worlds. Tanya is a fire-themed fighter.
The Kombat Pack DLC costs $29.99 separately, but is also bundled with all of the non-standard editions of Mortal Kombat X. MKX will be available on April 14 for the PC, Xbox One, and Playstation 4. The PS3 and Xbox 360 versions of the fighting game will follow later.
There’s now gameplay of Mileena, Takashi Takeda, and Kung Jin, so check that out if you haven’t yet.
