Koei Tecmo and Omega Force Reveal Attack on Titan 2

Koei Tecmo and Omega Force have announced Attack on Titan 2.

The game is a follow-up to their high-flying action-adventure adaptation from the popular manga / anime series. The game will be known as Attack on Titan 2 in North America and A.O.T. 2 in Europe. A worldwide release is set for next year on unannounced platforms.

Featured above, you can view the game’s announcement trailer, which Koei Tecmo says is “fully rendered with in-game graphics.” Here’s a brief synopsis of the title, via Koei Tecmo:

Building on the fast-paced action the series is famous for, and featuring an abundance of new gameplay mechanics, the gripping sequel will be released across America as Attack on Titan 2 in early 2018. Players will once again don the renowned Omni-Directional Manoeuver Gear as they fight and repel the fearsome Titans that threaten humanity, to restore peace within the walls.

Further details like development platforms, story details, and more are set to be announced in the coming weeks. In case you missed it, you can find our thorough written and video review for the original Attack on Titan game here (we highly recommend it).
