Knockout City is shutting down this summer

Knockout City

Nearly a year after going free-to-play, developer Velan Studios announced Knockout City is shutting down.

The “dodgebrawl” game is shutting down on June 6th, after which a “Private Hosted Server” version of the game will be offered so diehard fans can play the game, for free, forever.

“Today we are announcing that Season 9 will be Knockout City’s final season,” Velan Studios said. “Then, on the morning of June 6, 2023, over two years after our initial launch, all servers around the world will be shut down and the game will no longer be playable. This was an extremely difficult decision for us, but a necessary and important one for our studio.”

Knockout City has been available for Windows PC (via Origin, and Steam), Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
