Publisher Bohemia Interactive and developer Airo Games have announced Knights of the Fall, a new  sci-fi 2D/3D hybrid platformer.

Knights of the Fall is in development for Windows PC (via Steam), though a release date wasn’t announced.

In 1947, the secret agency NASS was founded to decode mysterious cosmic signals, triggering Japan’s rapid technological boom.

However, in 1986, the ignition of a zero-point energy reactor ripped open a gateway to another dimension, inviting alien life to Earth and plunging the planet into a desperate battle for survival.

Amid survivors, Haru allies with Yoshida, a former NASS scientist, and together they navigate a world forever altered, with the hope of saving Earth and those trapped in singularity anomalies.
