    • Kitana is Making a Return in Mortal Kombat X

    NetheRealm Studios have confirmed that Kitana is making her return in the upcoming Mortal Kombat X.

    Featured above, you can view the debut gameplay for the blade-wielding seductress. The gameplay for Kitana also features Goro, who previously got confirmed as a pre-order bonus character.

    Mortal Kombat X is coming worldwide on April 14th across PC, Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4.

      It’s bullshit that they hide their most unique character behind a pre-order wall. I prefer what Game Freak does: Make a small bonus available from the release of the title to 1-3 months later. Skullgirls is also pretty decent get all future DLC free from the moment you purchase the game.nnnHell if they made Goro free for all copies the first 2 days fine, the reviews have already come out and everything and there are not that many used copies.

      I sure hope the PC port is better this time, the PC port for Mortal Kombat 8 was terrible.

      Fuck this! First Pillars of Eternity has shitty pre-order bonus items and now Goro is limited to pre-orders. I was really looking forward to this now I wont be buying it (unless they change their mind).

      Well, still I think it’s a good system, crowdfunding or not. nThe point is that companies need to:nA. Promote new copies at the highest price.nB. Reward early adopters of the game.nC. Remove pre-orders from the equation.nD. Help the consumer have the necessary information to purchase the game.nE. Still have all the customers being able to have access to all content.nnnPutting deadlines of a week where most of the sales are done I think completes all my points and it’s fair. Although I’m not sure if it’s similar to project 10$ which utterly failed.

      NRS did a good job with Kitana – with all the characters so far, actually. Looks helluva lot smoother/cleaner than MK9’s character models.

      Really looking forward to this game, but I hope NOTHING ELSE is behind a damn pre-order wall. No more “preorder HERE to get THIS” bullshit. It’s bad enough having to preorder to get something at all, but what they did with the costumes with MK9 was bullshit.

      I think MK9 wasn’t too bad with the costume DLC. I can recall only the Klassic costumes as a separate DLC pack. Injustice on the other hand had a crapton of DLC.
