Nintendo has announced the latest entry in the Kirby franchise, and it’s called Kirby and The Forgotten Land.
The game was leaked earlier today as Kirby Discovery, the Japanese title for the game; and was formally announced during the Nintendo Direct on September 23rd.
A first for the Kirby series, the new game will take place entirely in 3D. Unlike Kirby and the Crystal Shards which was 2.5D.
Kirby finds himself stranded in a realm riddled with abandoned buildings. The human-like structures call back to the theory Kirby takes place in a post-apocalyptic future, a popular fan theory.
