Kirby and the Forgotten Land has become the pink blob’s biggest hit ever. In Nintendo’s Q1 financial report, they reveal the game has managed to reach over 4 million units sold-through.

This major news makes it the best selling game in the series, beating out previous record owner Kirby Star Allies. The new feat is also massively impressive considering it’s managed to reach these sales in only a mere 15 weeks.

It’s worth noting the new milesone also makes this the fastest selling Kirby game, beating Kirby Star Allies, which has nearly sold 4 million since its launch in 2018.

2022 is a big year for Kirby, as the franchise celebrates its 30th year anniversary as the series began back in 1992 with the release of Kirby’s Dream Land on the Game Boy. This year will also be getting another title after the announcement of Kirby’s Dream Buffet, which is slated to launch later this summer.
