    Kinnikuman is getting a new anime series to celebrate its 40th anniversary as a franchise!

    Western fans might be more familiar with the “second generation” Kinnikuman which was released in the west as the super powered wrestling show Ultimate Muscle.


    The original Kinnikuman follows Suguru Kinniku, who learns that he’s the lost prince of planet Kinniku.

    With his superhuman alien physiology and weird mask, he wrestles the evil Chojin to bring some semblance of peace to Japan.

    A release date for the new series has yet to be announced.
