For those in the market for a new NVMe SSD Kingston has released its newest drive the KC2000, which doesn’t roll off the tongue particularly well.

The new drive is an NVMe M.2 PCIe SSD aimed at both enterprise and enthusiast users. It uses TLC NAND and read and write speeds up to 3,200 and 2,200MB/s, respectively. It’s also a self encrypting drive for those looking to keep their data secure.

Niche Gamer’s Take: The drive is priced higher than most drives in its class but the added encryption is something missing from all those drives. If security is important to you, you might want to consider picking this up, otherwise you might consider skipping it.
