80s-themed isometric RPG Kingdom of Night gets a demo

Publisher DANGEN Entertainment and developer Friends of Safety have announced a demo for the upcoming Kingdom of Night.

The newly released demo will offer players a true vertical slice of this 80’s themed dark RPG. Average completion ought to take a couple hours, so take this time to soak in the nostalgic Miami.

The full release for Kingdom of Night is planned for Q4 2025, and console versions will be announced at a later date.

Here’s the rundown and a trailer just for the demo:

Here’s what players can expect in the demo:

  • A complete slice of Kingdom of Night, straight from the full game.

  • Five classes to experiment with: Barbarian, Knight, Rogue, Necromancer, or Sorcerer.

  • A cast of iconic characters who will play key roles later in the story.

  • Freedom to roam the streets of Miami at their own pace, with save slots included (though demo saves will not carry over into the full release).

The demo drops players right into the demon-infested streets of Miami to see what makes Kingdom of Night a ride worth remembering.
