Square Enix has announced a Kingdom Hearts 20th anniversary event, set a couple months from now and it will take place in Japan.
The Kingdom Hearts 20th anniversary event will kick off on April 10th in Tokyo, Japan, and will celebrate the big RPG and Disney characters crossover franchise. The series was also adapted into a manga based on its main storyline with both the story and art handled by Shiro Amano, known for his manga adaptation for the Legend of Mana RPG also from Square Enix. It was later adapted into a light novel series as well, with Tomoco Kanemaki handling the script and Shiro Amano once again handling illustrations.
In related news, Square Enix also confirmed the entire Kingdom Hearts series is finally launching for Nintendo Switch, albeit via their Cloud-powered versions – you can read more about that here in our other report.
