Kingdom Come: Deliverance Sequel Already Planned

Kingdom Come: Deliverance developer Warhorse Studios are already in the planning stages for the game’s sequel.

The news comes via an interview with GameWatcher and Warhorse PR representative Tobias Stolz-Zwilling, who said “It was necessary to split the game to put smaller ‘parts’ on the Kickstarter.”

“This however, isn’t up to date anymore. We already reshuffled this idea and will release a regular RPG title: Kingdom Come: Deliverance, with a closed story. The next game will be ‘Kingdom Come 2’ (not official name) and will offer a new story, map and more.”

If you remember, the game’s Kickstarter presented the first game as a potential trilogy, with the core story being split into three acts. Now, the scope of the game and its overall story has completely shifted, mostly due to how wildly successful its crowdfunding was.

The historically-drive medieval RPG will launch sometime next year, across PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
