Finnish developers 10Tons are hard at work bringing their previous game, King Oddball, to Playstation 4 next month. Instead of resting on their laurels, they’ve already announced their next game – a new game within their Sparkle series of puzzle games.
Titled Sparkle Unleashed, the game is building upon the success and the fan feedback from Sparkle 2. The game will launch on iOS exclusively as a Try & Buy game in April, and it will bring with it a whopping 108 challenging levels, survival mode, an immersive soundtrack, 23 different power-ups to choose from, and two additional difficulty settings. One of the most notable changes, however, is the fact that the orb launcher in Unleashed is free floating, versus the fixed one employed in the previous two games.
“Sparkle Unleashed is built on the success of Sparkle 2. We’ve evolved the stunningly beautiful art style and made the game more challenging,” said Jaakko Maaniemi, producer of Sparkle Unleashed. “Overall, the new gameplay features enhance the gameplay experience tremendously.”
Sparkle Unleashed is coming out on iOS next month, and while it is a Try & Buy title, you’ll be able to play through the first 23 levels before hitting a paywall, which if you decide to buy the full game, will unlock the entire rest of the game.
