An anime film has been announced for Kin no Kuni Mizu no Kuni (Land of Gold, Land of Water) for some time in 2023.
The upcoming film is being worked on by studio MADHOUSE. MADHOUSE is largely known for their work on titles like Overlord, High School of the Dead, Cardcaptor Sakura, and more. The movie will be their latest film after this year’s title Goodbye, DonGlees!

Once upon a time, there were two rival kingdoms that did not get along. Every day, they argued over insignificant matters. Saara, the princess of country A, meets the prince of country B, Naranbayar. As they pretend to be a married couple to protect the peace between the countries, they find themselves gradually falling in love.
