Developer Teravision Games announced IllFonic is taking over publishing duties for Killer Klowns from Outer Space: The Game.

Killer Klowns from Outer Space: The Game will be co-developed and published by IllFonic, as the game changes hands from former publisher Good Shepherd Entertainment.

When the game does release, it’ll be available for Windows PC (via Steam), Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5. The Xbox One and PS5 versions weren’t mentioned today, so we’ve asked for clarification.

“When we first started talking to Good Shepherd Entertainment and Teravision Games about this possibility we were very excited about the IP,” said IllFonic co-founder and CEO Charles Brungardt. “Then we got to know the team at Teravision and knew we were going to make this happen. Everyone at Good Shepherd has made the handoff process of this project enjoyable, as there is a lot of behind the scenes business in order to make something like this possible.”

Brungardt continued, “And we are thrilled to help create another experience for the community that they can truly immerse themselves in. Imagining yourself in this universe is wild, it is why we love creating and publishing games for IPs we are fans of!”

Teravision co-founder and CEO Enrique Fuentes added, “We are really excited about partnering with IllFonic for Killer Klowns from Outer Space: The Game. They have more experience than anyone in the industry in the asymmetrical multiplayer genre. The combined passions of Teravision Games and IllFonic will allow us to take the game to the next level and make us feel confident about the challenges of multiplayer at this scale.”

Killer Klowns from Outer Space: The Game is an asymmetrical multiplayer horror based on the iconic ‘80s film. In the battle between Killer Klowns and citizens of Crescent Cove, team up and use your wits to harvest humans or save them from the alien invasion!
