Microsoft and Iron Galaxy Studios announced that Killer Instinct: Season 2 will launch on Xbox One this October 15th.

Season 2 is kicking off with the new fighters TJ Combo and Maya, and it also comes with improved game modes and a completely overhauled user interface.

The “Ultra Edition” of Season 2 is set at $39.99 dollars, and it comes with eight fighters, as well as a new fighter that will be added each month. You’ll also get certain fighter costumes and accessory packs, and a free copy of Killer Instinct 2 Classic.

The other version, the $19.99 “Combo Breaker Pack”, comes with a roster of eight fighters as well (also including Maya and TJ Combo), and a new fighter to be added every month.

Lastly, you can buy more fighters to the game for $4.99 each. If you pre-purchase the Ultra Edition between September 23rd and October 14th, you can get exclusive access to TJ Combo, before everyone else.
