Kill la Kill Studio Producing Indivisible’s Opening Cinematic

Lab Zero Games are hard at work on their new action RPG – Indivisible. While we haven’t heard much about the game since it was heavily funded on Indiegogo, an exciting bit of news was shared (via Polygon) by the developer.

The game’s intro cinematic is being handled by Japanese anime studio Trigger, most famously known for their works Kill la Kill and Little Witch Academia. Featured above, you can view a new trailer hyping up the animation, however we’ll probably need to wait longer to see any of it.

Lab Zero is also working with the LA-based studio Titmouse (known for helping in the production of Metalocalypse, The Venture Bros.) with getting the storyboards for the cinematic done. Trigger is handling all the animation, and production on the intro will begin next year.

Yoh Yoshinari is directing, whose credits include the aforementioned titles as well as Neon Genesis Evangelion and Gurren Lagann. It’s also worth mentioning Lab Zero has contracted Secret of Mana composer Hiroki Kikuta to handle the game’s soundtrack.

Indivisible is launching sometime in 2018 across PC, Mac, Linux, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
