Blizzard Entertainment has announced a promo for Diablo IV beta codes with none other than.. Kentucky Fried Chicken.

Yes, you read that right – if you go to your local KFC and buy their infamously hedonistic “Double Down” chicken sandwich, which consists of buns made of fried chicken, thou will receive a Diablo IV beta code.

This isn’t the first big and ridiculous promo Blizzard has run for the hotly anticipated game – they also covered a real life baroque church with big demon murals.

To reiterate – the beta code obtained from consuming KFC’s chicken sandwich is the same as the pre-order beta code, though the KFC promo is only available until March 18th.

The game’s big open beta is being held in two blocks: for pre-orders from March 17th to the 19th and then for everyone from March 24th through the 26th – read more on about the beta here.

Diablo IV is set to launch on June 6th, 2023 across Windows PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, and PS5.
