Nintendo previously confirmed longtime Super Mario voice actor Charles Martinet is stepping down from voicing characters in the series. Now, we’ve learned who is replacing him.
Los Angeles-based voice actor Kevin Afghani is replacing Charles Martinent as the voice of Mario and Luigi in Super Mario Bros. Wonder, the latest release in the franchise.
“Incredibly proud to have voiced Mario and Luigi in Super Mario Bros. Wonder,” Afghani said. “Thanks to Nintendo for inviting me into the Flower Kingdom!”
Super Mario Bros. Wonder is set to launch for Nintendo Switch on October 20th.
