Capcom has confirmed that Ken Masters is returning in Street Fighter V.
The news was confirmed by Capcom producer Yoshinori Ono during this year’s San Diego Comic Con.
While Ken is going to be returning alongside his friend Ryu, he clearly has a new hairstyle, as well as a new outfit. He still has his own shoryuken, however, his moveset has been altered (alongside his appearance) to make him more distinct from Ryu.
Capcom described Ken as being more aggressive, and more “in your face,” alongside being more “stylish.” His quick step, a V-skill, will let him run at his opponent quickly and reduce the distance between them. His V-trigger is dubbed Heat Rush, and it will improve all of his specials.
Finally, Ken is going to be playable in Street Fighter V at Capcom’s booth, in San Diego Comic Con, for the first time.
Street Fighter V is launching on PC and Playstation 4 next spring.
