• Keiji Inafune Reveals Azure Striker Gunvolt, a New 2D Side-Scrolling Action Game

    Keiji Inafune has his hands in everything these days, or so it seems at least. Straight from the BitSummit indie games festival in Kyoto, he has revealed a new game collaboration with Inti Creates.

    Azure Striker Gunvolt was confirmed, and it’s definitely evoking that Mega Man feel, only with a modern coat of paint. The 2D, side-scrolling action game is set for the Nintendo 3DS eShop sometime this summer.

    Inti Creates are known for their work on Mega Man 9 and 10, Shantae Half-Genie Hero, and lastly – the kickstarter funded Mighty No. 9, which is also being helmed by Keiji Inafune.
