Katana Zero gets bootlegged for April Fools’ Day

Stylish 2D Hack and Slash Katana Zero just got its plot turned into a cheesy 80’s movie.

The April fools branch of the game can be accessed through Steam, and lets players have a different playthrough, this time with a bonkers story about evil spirits and ghouls.

The code for the April fools Steam branch of the game is aptly named “notthedlcbro”, since Katana Zero fans are eagerly awaiting for the game’s announced DLC to be released.

Sadly, fans will still have to wait a little longer on the extra content, but for now, we have a very fun April fools version of the game to play through.

You can read more details on how to access this branch of the game on the Steam announcement page.

Katana Zero is available on Windows PC, Mac (both via Steam), Xbox One and Nintendo Switch. In case you missed it, you can find our review here (we highly recommend it!).
