Manga Gamer has released both a public demo and the opening movie for Cartagra: Affliction of the Soul.
Featured above, you can sample the game’s pretty and mysterious [Ed: pretty mysterious?] opening cinematic. It’s completely safe for work, as it doesn’t showcase any of the H-scenes that are present in the game.
The game is a visual novel set four years before the events of Kara no Shoujo. You play as Takashiro Shugo, a private investigator who is investigating a serial killer in Ueno who murders prostitutes.
If you’re looking to get your hands on the demo for the game, get it via the game’s official page.
Manga Gamer hasn’t given us a release date, yet, but Cartagra: Affliction of the Soul will cost $34.95 when it launches. They will also be localizing Kara no Shoujo 2.
We’ll keep you guys posted.
