Kalypso Media has revealed yet another simulator game in the form Grand Ages: Medieval.
Featured above, you can view a CG teaser trailer of sorts for the upcoming historical city building simulator. The game is a follow up to 2009’s Grand Ages: Rome, only this time you start off in 1050 AD in the High Middle Ages.
Here’s the kicker about the scope of Grand Ages: Medieval – the playable world is easily over 30 million square kilometres. The gameplay is reminiscent of what past games featured, i.e. raising armies, founding cities, paving out trade routes, and so on.
Grand Ages: Medieval will also support up to eight players via online multiplayer, although further information for the various multiplayer modes was not confirmed.
More information, as well as gameplay, is set to come this week during this year’s Gamescom expo.
