Remember all the fun you had with SNK’s King of Monsters and Miday’s Rampage? Smashing modern architecture as a giant monster and loving the anti-simcity gameplay of it all? Well you can relive that again with Kerberos Productions Inc.’s new game, Kaiju-A-GoGo.

Though the two games I mentioned were strictly action titles, Kaiju-A-GoGo is actually a strategy game. Putting you in the role of a mad scientist that creates the world’s first human-controlled Kaiju, you are dead-set on using your creation to overtake the world and become its supreme ruler. Given a five year window to do this before other equally deranged scientists make their own gigantic dinosaur, you have to plan your moves so as to foil the counter-attacks by your enemies.

A quote from the developers explains the story further:

Start off the game Mad Scientist Dr. Norman E. Farious and his Kaiju creation, Ginormasaurus! You will then start play at your Secret Lair, an uncharted island, and launch your first attacks upon the unsuspecting world. As you crush city after city with your magnificent creation, the resistance of the people in that region will weaken, until eventually they bow to the inevitable and admit that you’re in charge. When you have conquered all of the regions on the globe, you win! You are the world’s supreme dictator and number one monkey. Simple as that.
