The second season of Kaguya-sama: Love is War from A-1 Pictures, and director Mamoru Hatakeyama will be exclusively streamed on Funimation for western audiences.
Funimation recently announced on their blog that they will be simulcasting Kaguya-sama: Love is War, and that a dub for both the first and second seasons will be released in the future.
The anime’s first season ran from January to March 2019, with Animation Production by A-1 Pictures, and directed by Mamoru Hatakeyama. Producers included Taku Funakoshi, Tatsuya Ishikawa, Toshihiro Maeda, and Naoto Nakajima.
The showed gained notoriety in the west through memes, most notably the “Chika Dance,” “Stressed Chika,” and even the noises the character makes.
The second season of Kaguya-sama: Love is War will have the main cast reprising their season one roles with Aoi Koga voicing Kaguya, Makoto Furukawa voicing Shirogane, Konomi Kohara voicing Chika, and Ryouta Suzuki voicing Ishigami. Its premiere date in Japan was recently announced.
