While Bethesda may have joked about putting Skyrim on Alexa at this year’s E3 (despite actually releasing the thing), Universal and Earplay have decided to do just that with Jurassic World Revealed.

The game takes on a “choose-your-own-adventure” book vibe with players making choices for podcaster Janet Best “as they travel to Isla Nublar.  On the daring investigative journey, they’ll attempt to report on the fate of the dinosaurs as the island’s dormant volcano roars to life.”

While the first chapter is free, the subsequent chapters in this “interactive audio adventure” are $3.99. After June 29th the price goes to $4.99.

The game can be booted up by saying “Alexa, visit Jurassic World”.

Jurassic World Revealed features a parallel story that is set during the events of Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, opening in theaters on Friday.  Produced by Universal and Earplay, the six-chapter voice-operated entertainment experience begins when players say, “Alexa, visit Jurassic World.”  Players must listen, observe, and interact with Jurassic World characters, alongside co-producer Janet, in order to get the scoop for their podcast.

“As players make choices in and around them through our high-quality audio experience, we give the audience a different window into the events happening on Isla Nublar,” said Dave Grossman, Earplay Chief Creative Officer. “We’ve partnered closely with Universal to maintain an authentic Jurassic World tone, one that stays true to the franchise and allows fans deeper inside this universe.”
