We’ve learned (via Famitsu) that JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Eyes of Heaven has an entirely new battle system.
The game is going to have an additional battle system called the “dual heat gauge”. The gauge gradually fills as players perform specific combo moves with their partner. When the gauge is full, players can make use of a finishing move.
Also, three characters have been detailed. From left to right below, they are: Jonathan Joestar, William Anthonio Zeppeli, and Robert Edward O. Speedwagon.
Jonathan Joestar excels at close-quarters combat, destructive powers, and he’s also quick. William Anthonio Zeppeli gets the advantage over his enemies with his speed and three-dimensional movements [Editor’s note: whatever that means]; he’s quite adept at dodging attacks, as a result of his skill at acrobatics. Robert Edward O. Speedwagon is actually a playable character this time around; he was in JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: All Star Battle, but only as a non-playable character.
JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Eyes of Heaven is coming some time later this year in Japan for the Playstation 4 and Playstation 3.
