While John Wick: Chapter 4 has smashed box office sales and a fifth film remains in limbo, the first John Wick spinoff is already set for next year.

The new John Wick spinoff, reportedly titled “Ballerina”, is set for a June 7th, 2024 premiere (via Variety) and will star Ana de Armas as another trained assassin like Keanu Reeves’ own John Wick.

“The world of ‘John Wick’ expands with ‘Ballerina,’ as Ana de Armas stars as an assassin trained in the traditions of the Ruska Roma,” reads the official synopsis.

The new spinoff is being directed by Underworld boss Len Wiseman, written by Shay Hatten, and will be co-produced by Basil Iwanyk, Erica Lee and Chad Stahelski – the latter of which directed all four John Wick films.
