Staff Writer / Main Staff – 2 Hires
We’re looking for regular contributors throughout the days as the latest gaming news hits. This involves cutting the chaff from press releases, to the core information readers want to know. Writers should also be on the pulse for what everyone is talking about, and able to find breaking news and untapped information that is of interest to our readers.
Requirements
- Passion to look for games people should know about; the fantastic, the obscure, the weird, and the niche.
- Good knowledge on video games in general.
- Strong grammar and English writing + speaking skills.
- Knowledge of CMS, WordPress, and SEO is a huge plus.
Responsibilities
- Publishing articles regularly, every week day. Weekend workers a plus (e.g. Wednesday to Sunday).
- Complying with embargoes; not disclosing announcements and producing a news article prior to the embargo date.
- Completing assignments as given by the administration.
Duties have potential to expand to editorials and reviewing games. Reviews must be handled in a timely manner, prior to embargo or other deadlines.
Nicchiban Culture Staff Writer / Main Staff – 2 Hires
We’re looking for regular contributors throughout the days as the latest anime news hits, along with Japanese and Asian culture. This involves cutting the chaff from press releases, to the core information readers want to know. Writers should also be on the pulse for what everyone is talking about, and able to find breaking news and untapped information that is of interest to our readers.

- Passion to look for anime, manga, Japanese, and Asian culture stories. Everything from the fantastic, the obscure, the weird, and the niche.
- Good knowledge on anime, manga, Japan, and Asian culture in general.
- Strong grammar and English writing + speaking skills, understanding Japanese, Chinese, and Korean is a plus!
- Knowledge of CMS, WordPress, and SEO is a huge plus.
