A new Japanese poll conducted by TV Asahi (via Famitsu) was conducted to confirm the Japanese Top 100 console games of all time, a list sure to get folks debating.
The new poll for the Japanese Top 100 console games has the following games as the top ten games released for consoles:

The fact that The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild was crowned the greatest home console game of all time is certainly interesting – our own review thoroughly analyzed the game at the time and found it decent at best, but certainly not a genre-defining masterpiece people claim it to be.
Other notable games in the list are the original Tetris at number 25, while a number of Final Fantasy games were voted into the top 100, Final Fantasy VIII came in at 90, Final Fantasy XI was at 84, Final Fantasy III was at 63, Final Fantasy IV was at 51, Final Fantasy XIV was at 47, Final Fantasy IX was at 37, Final Fantasy V was at 34, and Final Fantasy VI was at 33.
