Japanese Studio Cave’s New Game Lets You Destroy Cities as a Giant Schoolgirl in VR

Veteran Japanese shoot ’em up developer Cave has revealed (via Famitsu) their latest game, and it’s quite the departure from their storied legacy of shooters.

Tentatively titled A.I am Monster, the new game is built from the ground up for virtual reality, and is set for a release in Japan sometime next year. Featured above, you can view the game’s announcement trailer.

While release platforms weren’t confirmed, the developer has put a big focus on how much destruction you cause in-game. As you destroy buildings, you’ll accrue a total of how much damage you’ve caused financially, thus calculating your final score.
