Japanese shoot ’em up developer Cave has announced (also via Famitsu) what they’re calling a “completely new title,” which they’ve code-named “3jus.”

The company launched a teaser website confirming Yuri Shibamura (known for works like Touken Ranbu and Gunparade March: Another Princess) is involved with the project.

The story is focused on an event where a totalitarian leader joins the winning side of a divided society currently stuck in an economic crisis. The fear is that the in-fighting will lead to war, and that ordinary life will end as we know it.

The above image is the only real media released thus far for the game. It’s worth mentioning Famitsu lists this game as a “console title,” leading us to believe it will be developed only for consoles – not smartphones.
