Japanese Retailer Leaks Persona 5 Poster, Teases “Phantom Thief Party”

Japanese retailer Genki had recently uploaded (via NeoGAF) this Persona 5 poster onto their twitter feed.

This comes two days after the announcement of the Persona Special Stage at TGS 2015.

The tweet (which has since been removed), said:

[Announcement] Beginning this September 17th (Thursday) to September 19th (Saturday), the Persona 5 ‘Pursue The Phantom Thief Party’ campaign is now in effect! During this time, please report what you find regarding the ‘Phantom Thief Party’ by coming to our store. There will be more details next week.

No info has been given on what the “Pursue the Phantom Thief Party” is all about, but we’ll keep you guys posted.

I’m gonna guess it’s going to be a promotion for something related to the game or ARG.

All the English ads in Japan makes me wonder if they’re taught to speak English over there. Like if an English speaker goes there can most people hold a conversation?

A friend of mind said he had a relatively simple time with high school and college-aged students. I guess English classes are somewhat common, but many folks don’t stick with it after school and slowly lose the skill.

Gamers probably know more English than the average person there, since a lot of Japanese games still have English menus and stuff.
