• Japanese Red Cross: Big Breasted Anime Girl Blood Drive Promotion is Not Sexual Harassment

    The Japanese Red Cross Association has partnered with many anime series over the years to promote blood drive donations, and the recent one promo they ran with the manga creators of ‘Uzaki-Chan Wants to Hang Out” drew ire lately from various internet grifters.

    The promotion features the busty main character looking smugly at you telling you donate blood. A few influencers online ran with it and implied that the Japanese Red Cross was glorifying sexual harassment by having an anime girl on a poster.

    The Red Cross responded (via Otakomu) by publicly stating that is not the case and while they are aware of the observations, that was never their intention at all. The Japanese Red Cross also noted the promo is not a form of sexual harassment.
