A full year after the reveal of the Playstation 4 in New York City last year, the console is finally going to arrive in its home country of Japan, following its American and European launches.
Outside of the Sony building in the Ginza district, fans are eagerly lining up (pictured above) in wait to get their hands on the console as early as possible. Sony gave away 100 tickets to fans on a first come, first served basis, and among those 100 tickets, 30 lucky people will be selected at random to go to the midnight launch event.
The Playstation 4 Japanese launch event is being live streamed, and you can find the live stream below:
The stream has already begun, although the famous Japanese developers like Hideo Kohima, Toshiro Nagoshi, and Shinji Hashimoto have not made an appearance yet.
