Famitsu has the scoop on a new event in Tokyo’s iconic Akihabara district to celebrate the console release of VA-11 HALL-A, an anime-themed game about bartending.

The bartending themed visual novel features a variety of drinks, one of which is being sold during the month-long promotion.

The basic “Sugar Rush” drink is being offered in the two bars, Bar Sekirei and DJ BAR Alike Misuzu. The former will sell a vodka-based cocktail (above left), while the latter will sell a cassis-based mix (above right) with orange peel, and beer.

If you’re a local or just in town during the promo and order a drink, you’ll get some swanky promo items, while supplies last:

VA-11 Hall-A has been available for PC, Mac, Linux, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch. In case you missed it, you can find our review for the game here (we highly recommend it!). You can also read our interview with the game’s key development staff here.
