Aksys Games has announced a western release date for otome visual novel game Jack Jeanne on Switch.
The previously announced western Nintendo Switch port is launching on June 15th, 2023. Jack Jeanne has been available in Japan since 2021 as a project created by developer Broccoli and Tokyo Ghoul creator Sui Ishida.
The game has a mix of two parts for gameplay. One part being the rhythm portions where the performers dance in 3D. While the other is the simulation portion where players will strengthen the bonds they have with other classmates.
Here’s a brief rundown on Jack Jeanne:
Kisa is about to give up her dream of becoming an actor when she is given the opportunity to attend the prestigious All Boys Drama School that she has always admired. She is granted admission with two conditions: be chosen as the lead in the final performance and hide her identity as a girl! Competition at the school is fierce and the rivalry is real! Will Kisa be able to forge powerful bonds with her all-male classmates while competing against them? Will she be cast in the lead role in the final performance at the end of the year all while keeping her secret?
